Aman Aged Care is a warm and welcoming 46-bed Residential Aged Care and Support at Home, dedicated to providing high-quality, person-centered support for our residents.
Our care home is holistic, supporting the physical, emotional, social, and overall well-being of every individual.
The Opportunity:
We are seeking aCare Managerto join our team and oversee operational performance and the delivery of person-centered care.
In this role, you will ensure that residents' dignity, independence, and well-being are maintained in alignment with the Strengthened Aged Care Quality Standards and the Aged Care Act ****.
You will help mentor a team to ensure the safe, high-quality delivery of care, oversee clinical support and cultural inclusion, and ensure compliance with all statutory, regulatory, and organizational requirements.
What You'll Do:
Contribute to the operational performance of residential aged care services, ensuring high-quality care for older persons.
Oversee the development, implementation, and monitoring of individual care plans for residents to ensure they meet residents' needs and preferences.
Lead a team of care staff, providing guidance, training, and leadership to ensure effective service delivery.
Create and drive a positive, respectful, and inclusive environment for both residents and staff.
Monitor and report on key performance metrics to ensure compliance with the Aged Care Quality Standards.
Ensure the safety and well-being of older persons by managing incidents and escalating high-level issues when necessary.
Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives and uphold Aman Aged Care's mission of delivering holistic care in line with Islamic principles.
We'd Love to Hear from You If You:
Hold a tertiary qualification in health, business, or a relevant field.
Have a minimum of 3 years of experience in aged care leadership.
Have a deep understanding of the Aged Care Act **** and the Strengthened Aged Care Quality Standards.
Have proven experience in ensuring compliance withSIRS,WHSrequirements, and other regulatory obligations.
Demonstrate a solid commitment to providing person-centered care and upholding dignity, rights, and cultural safety of older persons.
Have excellent communication skills and experience engaging with families, residents, and the wider community.
Can mentor and support a team while managing day-to-day operations effectively.
