Primary Details
Salary package: $68,****** - $74,****** (Part-time, 21 hours per week, 3 days per week) (HEW 7) plus 17% employer's superannuation contribution and annual leave loading
Appointment Type: Part-time, fixed term role until mid-January ****

Overview
We're looking for a passionate and creative communicator to join our energetic team and help lead our storytelling
About the Role
The Corporate Communications Advisor acts as trusted, expert, and embedded communications specialist for faculties and offices, aligning stakeholders' communications needs with broader University priorities
The role supports internal and external communications across a range of owned and earned channels, working alongside a talented team of supportive communication experts
Key Accountabilities
Collaborate with stakeholders to plan and implement communications aligned with local objectives, and execute strategic external communications campaigns
Create engaging content for internal and external audiences that reflects the University's mission and strategy
Partner with the Media and External Communications team to secure media placements and develop content
Work with senior leaders to craft thought leadership communications on key societal and academic issues
Monitor reputational risks and develop timely communication strategies to address emerging concerns
Advise on communications best practices to ensure consistency and quality across platforms
Ensure compliance with EEO and WHS regulations
Perform other duties as required within the scope of the role

Selection Criteria
Exceptional writing and editing skills, with the ability to communicate complex ideas clearly and concisely across platforms
Proven experience in the creation of engaging external and internal communications content and products for a wide range of audiences, including strategic communications campaigns and content
Ability to collaborate effectively with senior leaders, internal and external stakeholders to deliver high quality outputs while managing competing priorities
Creative and strategic mindset, capable of developing innovative communications approaches
