Lawson Elliott Recruitment is partnering with a well-established and growing national organisation to recruit an experienced Accounts Payable Officer for their Brisbane finance team.

Reporting to the Senior Accountant, you will have broad range of responsibilities including:
Processing and managing a high volume of supplier invoices
Raising invoices as required
Performing bank reconciliations
Managing the accounts inbox and responding to queries in a timely manner
Liaising with internal and external stakeholders to resolve account enquiries




Identifying and resolving invoice and payment discrepancies
Assisting with ad hoc finance and administrative duties as required
Ideal candidate for this role:
2+ years' experience as an Accounts Payable Officer or in a similar finance role
Previous experience working in a high-volume accounts payable environment
Experience using ERP systems
Robust attention to detail and excellent organisational skills
The ability to work effectively under pressure and meet deadlines
Clear and confident communication skills, with the ability to build strong relationships
A proactive approach with the initiative to take ownership of your work
