JOB DESCRIPTION
A Certificate III Early Childhood Educatorhelps care for and teach young children, assisting with daily routines, learning activities, and safety.
Key duties include supporting children's play, maintaining a safe setting, and helping document developmental progress.
Key Responsibilities
Child Care & Routine: Assist with meals, sleep times, hygiene, and personal care needs.
Learning Support: Help room leaders run educational games, reading, and outdoor play.
Safety & Compliance: Follow health and safety rules, manage risks, and administer basic first aid if needed.
Family Communication: Build friendly, professional links with parents and guardians.
Job Requirements
Qualification: Hold or be studying toward an approved Certificate III in Early Childhood Education and Care.
Checks: Valid Working with Children Check
First Aid: Current First Aid, CPR, Asthma, and Anaphylaxis training certificates.
