1st -Year Apprentice – Security & Data Technician
Tolai Technical Pty Ltd is a North Brisbane-based company delivering professional security and data solutions across commercial and industrial sectors.
We're currently seeking a First-Year Apprentice who's eager to start a hands-on career in the security and data industry.
You will be working directly alongside the owner, a fully qualified Security and Data Technician, who will mentor and train you across all relevant fields including:
Installation and Commissioning of CCTV, alarms, and access control systems
Data cabling (Cat5e, Cat6, Fibre Optic), Security cabling and network setups
Terminating, Testing and Commissioning of Data, Fibre Optic and Security cabling
Fault-finding, diagnostics, and system servicing
Safety procedures, standards, and site readiness
Our Ideal Candidate Will:
Be comfortable working at heights and in ceiling spaces




Hold a Provisional or Open Driver's Licence (Manual preferred)
Have basic experience with hand tools
Show a strong attitude, willing to take ownership and commitment to learning
Be punctual, reliable, and presentable
Be willing to travel to various job sites
Hold a White Card
Be willing to obtain their Security Providers licence
