Rehabilitation Medicine vacancy.

The Department of Rehabilitation Medicine at the Royal Hobart Hospital encompasses a busy inpatient and outpatient service.
Rehabilitation physicians work across multiple hospital sites to deliver inpatient care to patients with a wide range of medical conditions.
The outpatient service provides opportunities for continuity in clinical practice with outpatient clinics across a range of specialist rehabilitation medicine areas.

The Role

Is a registered Medical Practitioner who is an International Medical Graduate (IMG) who is on the specialist pathway

Base salary points range for Specialist Medical Practitioner Level 1 at $222,789 through to Specialist Medical Practitioner Level 11 at $305,539 with further salary increments available.
Please note that access to the Senior Specialist Medical Practitioner salary range $309,222 - $319,701 is subject to the successful applicant satisfying the criteria for Senior Specialist Medical Practitioner Level 1, 2 or 3 as outlined in the Medical Practitioners (Tasmanian State Service) Award Medical Practitioners Agreement **** In addition, the following allowances calculated on the salaried incremental point may be available: Allowance in lieu of motor vehicle currently set at $28,786 pro rata per annum, paid fortnightly (with CPI indexation on 1 July each year).
Continuing Career development Allowance of $17,483 pro rata per annum.
On call allowance % of Base Salary.
All other allowances as per current Award.
And subject to approval from the Private Patient Scheme Committee (PPS), 35% of Base salary plus on-call, pro rata) of additional payment will be paid from (PPS).
If not admitted to the PPS, a 35% in lieu of PPS of base salary will be paid.
