We are looking for a skilled Robot Welder Operator to set up, maintain and operate a Panasonic robot welding system.
This position will provide the successful candidate with the chance to apply their knowledge, learn new skills and work as a team.
The ideal candidate for this role has 2+ years' experience in the manufacturing sector, pays solid attention to detail and is committed to workplace safety.
The position of Robot Welder Operator is responsible for the operation of a robotic welder, overhead gantry crane and where needed hand welding and finishing tasks like grinding etc.
The successful applicant will need experience in a similar role working with steel and fabrication materials.
We are happy to train someone with welding experience how to drive the robot.
WORKING HOURS AND PAY
Afternoon Shift from 2:00pm - 10:30pm (paid a 15% loading) and the opportunity for overtime.

ABOUT YOU
2 years experience in a production, fabrication or similar industrial environment.
Previous experience in operating industrial machinery and overhead gantry crane is desirable, but not essential
Experience in manual handling
Highly skilled autonomous operator




Ability to measure using various types of measuring equipment (Vernier, calliper's and micrometres)
Have a strong work ethic
Plan workload to achieve daily targets
Give significant attention to detail
Maintain the highest safety standards
High level organisation skills, ability to manage multiple priorities and conflicting deadlines.
Clear problem solver, proven ability to understand and deal with difficult questions or situations.
Mechanical aptitude
Ability to attain and retain fitness for work (including clear Drug and Alcohol Screens)
Currently have the right to work in Australia
