We have three Specialist and Emergency hospitals currently Stafford, North Lakes with our newest hospital in the beautiful Sunshine Coast.
TheRole
QVS is looking for passionate Client Services Officers to join our multidisciplinary veterinary hospital at Stafford and North Lakes and be the welcoming face for our clients and their pets.
As a 24/7 hospital, we are seeking team members who can work across a rotating roster, with shifts scheduled between 6:00 am and 11:00 pm. We currently have two part-time opportunities available, as well as casual positions.
OurClientServices Officers are the first point of contact for pet owners, playingan important rolein supporting clients during what can often be an emotional or stressful time. This is not a typical reception role — it is a dynamic and rewarding prospect to make a real difference for pets and their families, while working as part of a supportive and collaborative hospital team.
Key Responsibilities:
Welcoming clients and managing waiting room workflow
Handling a high-volume email inbox
Coordinating and booking appointments over the phone and in person
Acting as a liaison between clients and the clinical team
Processing client payments
Requesting medical records, test results, and documents from third parties
Managing pet medical insurance claims
Being a point of escalation for account queries, referring vet queries, and complaints management
Providing hands-on support to the team, leading by example, andparticipatingin day-to-day tasks asrequired

Requirements
A strong commitment to delivering outstanding customer service across the business
Proven ability to take initiative and prioritise tasks effectively
Exceptional attention to detail with clear and professional communication, both written and verbal
At least 2 years of experience in a rapid-paced reception role
We have 2 part time positions available (30 hours per week), one at our North Lakes hospital and one at Stafford, there is ability to rotate shifts between the two locations
Highly Desirable:
Previousexperience in a veterinary or medical reception position
Experience using a practice management system, ideallyEzyVet
