About the Role
We're seeking an Intermediate Accountant to join our growing team.
This is a hands-on role with strong client interaction and exposure to a broad range of tax, compliance, and advisory matters. You'll work closely with clients across a variety of industries while developing your technical expertise and professional relationships.
Key Responsibilities
Prepare, review, and analyse financial statements for companies, trusts, and partnerships
Manage BAS and IAS preparation and lodgements
Build and maintain strong client relationships
Manage workflow and meet compliance deadlines
Assist with specialist taxation matters, including Div 7A, CGT, and FBT
Participate in weekly internal accountant training sessions
About You
You're a motivated accounting professional who enjoys taking ownership of your work and building strong relationships with clients and colleagues.
You'll ideally possess:
A degree qualification in Accounting
A minimum of 3 years' experience in public practice
Strong organisational and time management skills
The ability to work independently while collaborating effectively within a team
A positive attitude and willingness to learn and accept feedback
Strong attention to detail
Professional communication skills
A genuine desire to build a long-term career within a supportive firm
A high level of accountability and pride in your work
