We're looking for an experienced Carpenter, Builder, or Construction Professional ready to transition into a Building Investigator role.

What you'll be doing
Inspect homes and buildings to identify defects and structural issues
Assess cracking, movement, water ingress,
and construction faults
Work alongside engineers to determine root causes
Prepare clear reports (full training provided)
Recommend practical, buildable repair solutions
Liaise with builders, homeowners, and insurers
What you bring
Strong understanding of residential construction
Eye for detail and pride in quality workmanship
Ability to work independently across sites
Highly regarded:
QBCC Builder / Carpenter licence (or eligible)
Experience with defect work or insurance repairs
