We're on the lookout for a Full Time Accounts Receivable Officer to join our fun and dynamic Accounts Team.
The Accounts Receivable Officer will be responsible for making collections, allocating debtor payments, maintaining customer accounts, resolving account queries, and checking of orders prior to release.
THE ROLE:
Managing a portfolio of interstate debtors your key responsibilities in the role include:
Working with customers to resolve outstanding debts and negotiate payment plans.
Investigate and resolve account discrepancies & queries.
Recommend actions for the creation of customer accounts, apply credit limits & releasing orders on hold.
Provide exceptional customer service & build robust relationships with Customers & Sales Agents by exercising empathy & understanding.
You will work as part of the Accounts Receivable team and take responsibility for the below:
Inbound / outbound calls to collect and negotiate payments on overdue accounts.
Receipt and Allocate Credit Card payments.
Reconciliation of daily banking statements for transactions, posting transactions to customer accounts.
Manage a shared email inbox.

To be suitable for this role you will be able to demonstrate your ability to work autonomously with minimal supervision, take direction and complete tasks in a timely and thorough manner.
You must be a team player, a great communicator, have excellent time management skills and a high level of accuracy in data entry/attention to detail.
