The Company You'll Join
This business is on a mission to redefine accommodation for the modern corporate traveller, and they're well on their way.
They specialise in serviced apartments and boutique hotels that serve the full spectrum of modern corporate travel, from extended stays and relocation through to short breaks and leisure. Their proposition sits in a sweet spot the big players can't match: 30% more space than a hotel, more style and consistency than a traditional serviced apartment, and more reliability than an Airbnb, all backed by hotel-grade 24/7 support.
They serve the contracted corporate travel market at scale, winning enterprise, government, insurance and SME accounts that need high-quality, flexible accommodation for projects, relocations and extended stays. Technology runs through everything: guests check in online, access apartments via keyless entry and get support around the clock, with no front desk required. That means the business can scale across markets and asset types in a way traditional operators simply can't.

Founded in Sydney in ****, they've grown from 100 apartments to more than 1,000 in three years, across 10 major cities globally - and the growth pipeline from here is already committed. New hotel management agreements have been signed in Wellington and for a flagship digital apart-hotel in Melbourne's CBD, a boutique hotel recently launched in Adelaide, and a new model has been released that lets build-to-rent operators monetise apartments during lease-up. More inventory, more markets and more to sell. Newly appointed global commercial leadership is now rebuilding and scaling the sales function from the ground up to meet the demand, which is exactly why this opportunity exists.
You'll join a no-egos, collaborative culture built around curiosity, courage and empathy, where the team genuinely serves three stakeholders in every decision: the guest, the colleague and the owner. As a business still growing quickly, with teams across Australia, New Zealand, the UK and Ireland, there's real opportunity to build a long term career with global scope.
The Impact You'll Make
This role has been deliberately structured as a development role. You'll get coaching, mentorship and structured exposure to the full sales cycle, working alongside the Business Development Managers and commercial leadership, with a clear pathway into an Enterprise-level Business Development Manager position for the right person.
Roughly 40% of your week goes to prospecting. You'll research new corporate targets across verticals with recurring accommodation needs, including professional services, resources, government, tech and financial services, then run tailored outreach across phone, email and LinkedIn to qualify leads and book meetings for the wider team.
You'll also build and run your own portfolio of smaller and emerging accounts on shortened sales cycles, so you're closing your own business, not just feeding someone else's pipeline. Alongside that,

you'll support the senior team on RFP responses, proposals, client meetings and site inspections, giving you a front-row seat to strategic, multi-stakeholder deals where tier one accounts represent $1M+ in annual spend and buying cycles run 3 to 12 months.
You'll be backed by Revenue Management on pricing, Marketing on campaigns and enablement, and a business investing heavily in CRM infrastructure and a dedicated sales operations function to help you succeed. Beyond the role itself, you'll enjoy hybrid working from pet-friendly offices, regular social events, a real focus on wellbeing and genuine investment in your professional development.
The Experience You'll Bring
1-2+ years' experience in a similar outbound B2B sales / SDR role is valued, though attitude, aptitude and commercial hunger matter more here than years on a CV.
Industry experience across corporate accommodation, hospitality, serviced apartments, corporate travel or the conferencing and events space is the preference, but not the prerequisite. Hungry candidates from adjacent B2B environments such as SaaS, travel technology, relocation or corporate services will be seriously considered.
A genuine appetite for prospecting. You find building new relationships from cold energising rather than draining, and you keep your activity consistent without needing to be chased.
You're a strong communicator, clear and confident in writing and in conversation, with the self-awareness to adapt your style across executive assistants, travel managers, procurement leads and HR stakeholders.
You're also organised, self-disciplined and coachable. You act on feedback quickly, ask smart questions and treat every client interaction as a chance to improve.
Culturally, you bring zero ego, real curiosity and a "we-over-I" mindset. Prospecting involves rejection, you learn from it rather than take it personally, and you keep going.
If you're looking for a role where your contribution is visible and your growth is taken seriously, this could be for you. On offer is a competitive base salary plus performance incentives, structured coaching, and a clear pathway to Enterprise Business Development in a company on a steep growth trajectory, with global expansion plans.
