Security Supervisor - Control Room Operations I Sydney

The Role
Allied Security, trading as Citiguard Protection Services, is seeking an experienced, motivated, and highly professional Security Supervisor to lead a high-performing team at one of our most significant and operationally complex Sydney-based contracts. This is not a routine supervisory role — this position sits at the centre of a large-scale, multi-site security operation, coordinating activity across a broad network from a dedicated,control room environment.
The successful candidate will bring extensive experience in security operations, including site security management,Security Access control systems, and the implementation of operational procedures and compliance requirements. You willbe responsible formaintaininga safe and secure environment, ensuring seamless day-to-day operations, and providing strong leadership and support to your team.
To succeed, you mustpossessexcellent communication and leadership skills, advancedproficiencyin Microsoft Word and Excel, and the ability to manage multiple priorities, prepareaccuratereports, andmaintainthe highest operational standards. Key Responsibilities
Direct and oversee all control room and site security operations, including real-time monitoring, incident coordination, alarm management, and dispatch of security responses across a multi-site network
Manage andoperate CCTV, access control platforms, and associated security infrastructure
Lead, mentor, and develop a team of Security Officers and Control Room Operators,maintaininga high-performance, accountable team culture
Ensure all contractual KPIs, compliance requirements, and operational standards are consistently achieved and documented
Act as the primary point of escalation for all site security matters,maintainingdecisive and effective communication with clients and senior management
Build and sustain strong, professional relationships with client representatives and key stakeholders
Identify, assess, and proactively address security risks and operational vulnerabilities across the network
Respond to and manage incidents, emergencies, and critical events with composure, authority, and precision
Ensureaccurate,timely, and thorough reporting, record keeping, and data entryin accordance withcontractual and company requirements
Champion compliance with all site-specific procedures, company policies, and WHS obligations
Drive continuous improvement in operational performance, team capability, and service delivery standards
About You
You are a seasoned security professional with a proventrack recordin control room supervision and multi-site security coordination. You lead with confidence, communicate with clarity, and bring a calm, methodical approach to high-pressure environments. Your peers and clients alike regard you as reliable, professional, andsolutions-focused.
You understand that in a role of this nature, the standard cannot vary — every shift, every response, and every interactionreflectsthe reputation of the contract and the organisation. You hold yourself and your team to that standard without exception.
To be considered, you must hold:
A valid NSW Class 1A Security Licence
A Working with Children Check (WWCC) clearance
A valid Driver's Licence
Demonstrated experience in security control room operations at a supervisory or senior level
Advancedproficiencyin Microsoft Word and Excel
Exceptional written and verbal communication, reporting, and organisational skills
The ability to manage competing priorities and make sound,timelydecisions under pressure
