APG Workforce is seeking an experienced
Project Manager (Civil)
to lead the delivery of major transport infrastructure projects based in
Nerang
.
This is a
12-month contract chance with the possibility of a further 12-month extension
, providing the opportunity to manage significant road infrastructure projects within a government environment.
Reporting to the Team Leader (Preconstruction), you will oversee project delivery, provide specialist engineering expertise, manage commercial outcomes, and ensure projects are delivered safely, efficiently and in line with quality, cost and stakeholder expectations.
Key Responsibilities
Lead the delivery of key components of road infrastructure programs
Provide high-level engineering advice across planning, design, construction and project delivery activities
Manage project budgets, forecasts, expenditure and commercial outcomes
Act as the Representative of the Principal for delegated contract delivery responsibilities
Oversee tender processes, assessments and contract award activities
Manage contractors, consultants, stakeholders and project risks
Ensure quality,



environmental and safety requirements are identified and maintained
Provide reporting on project progress, financial performance and forecasts
Manage project systems, processes and operational delivery requirements
Build effective relationships with internal teams, government stakeholders and external partners
Identify and manage high-risk, complex and sensitive project issues
Mandatory Requirements
Four-year Bachelor of Engineering (Civil) accredited under the Washington Accord or equivalent recognised by Engineers Australia
Current Registered Professional Engineer of Queensland (RPEQ) registration
Minimum 15 years' experience delivering transport infrastructure projects
Current Class C Driver's Licence
Construction Industry White Card (or equivalent)
Ability to successfully complete a criminal history check
This is an excellent opportunity for a senior Civil Project Manager with extensive transport infrastructure experience to contribute to major road projects.
