About the role
We are seeking an experienced Planner to join our project delivery team, supporting the planning and delivery of major construction and infrastructure projects.
Working closely with Project Managers, Engineers and site teams, you will be responsible for developing and maintaining project programmes, monitoring progress and providing planning support throughout the project lifecycle.
Specific activities will include:
Develop and maintain detailed project programmes in line with contractual requirements and delivery objectives
Work closely with project teams to understand construction sequencing, methodology and key milestones
Monitor progress against programme, identify potential delays and provide proactive mitigation strategies
Prepare programme updates,



reporting and progress analysis for internal and external stakeholders
Support change management, extension of time assessments and delay analysis as required
Collaborate with engineering, commercial and site teams to ensure alignment of project objectives
Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives and innovative planning practices across projects
Your skills and experience
Degree qualification in engineering, construction management, project management or a related discipline
Strong fundamental background in planning and project controls
Proven experience as a Planner within construction, civil or infrastructure delivery environments
Robust understanding of construction methodologies, project sequencing and delivery processes
Experience developing and managing project programmes using Primavera P6 or similar planning software
Ability to analyse project performance, identify risks and communicate effective solutions
Strong stakeholder engagement skills with the ability to work collaboratively across project teams
Excellent attention to detail with the ability to manage competing priorities in a fast-paced environment
Good understanding in progress measurement and earned value management will be an advantage
