Wonganella Constructions is a diverse construction company, specializing in commercial steel buildings, structural steel erection, and various forms of cladding.
Our services include civil works, light fabrication and installation through to final fit out.
We are seeking a reliable Trade Assistant / Construction Worker to support our well-established Barossa based team.
In this role, you will assist tradespeople with a variety of tasks on site, including handling lightweight cladding materials, basic roofing duties, and general construction activities.
Your positive attitude and willingness to learn will make you a valuable member of our energetic crew.
Previous experience in the construction industry is preferred, but not essential.
The successful candidate will help with construction works, cladding, roofing, steel erection, and other general site duties.
This position involves working at heights and performing physical labour.
Casual or Full-Time available for the right candidate with the option of overtime.
Job Requirements:




Assist with roof and wall cladding (CGI, Kliplok, FC sheeting, etc.)
Support roof plumbing activities (experience is a plus)
General construction site support and laboring
Help with steel erection and rigging tasks
Assist in shed construction
Required Qualifications are:
Construction Card (White/Blue Card)
Drivers Licence
Favourable (not mandatory) qualifications are:
Work Safely at Heights Certificate
EWP Yellow Card
HRWL: EWP over 11m (WP)
HRWL: Dogging (DG
HRWL: Forklift (LF)
HR Licence
Our depot yard is based in the Barossa Valley, 45min from CBD.
