We are seeking a Supervisor in the Gold Coast Region to lead the
onsite delivery of commercial fit-out, refurbishment, and building rectification projects
across multiple sectors.
This role offers genuine variety, with exposure to a diverse range of work across
multiple sectors including Hospitality, Commercial Insurance, Retirement Living and
commercial fit outs.
It's an opportunity to work on multifaceted projects, broaden your
experience, and play a key role in delivering tailored solutions for a wide-ranging
client base.
Reporting to the General Manager you will be responsible for managing day-to-day
activities on site, coordinating trades and subcontractors, and ensuring that work is
delivered safely, on time, and to scope.
You will play a hands-on role in delivering
high-quality outcomes for our clients and supporting the wider Aizer team.
Key responsibilities include:
Pre-Construction tasks such as site inspections and scoping, assisting our estimating team with scope queries and sourcing contractors
Oversee day-to-day onsite operations across multiple projects within a designated geographical area.
Coordinate internal trades and subcontractors to ensure timely delivery
Ensure compliance with WHS, quality standards, and environmental regulations
Conduct toolbox talks, pre-starts, and site safety inspections
Monitor project schedules and adjust work programs as required
Manage site documentation including QA inspections, safety records, and
Liaise with clients and stakeholders to provide regular project updates
Support the management of labour, materials, and subcontractor
Work with our Project Coordinators to maintain accurate project budgets
Maintain site-based cost tracking and review progress claims and invoices
Lead by example with a strong focus on safety, quality, and customer service
Work alongside and learn from our existing experienced Supervisors and Project Managers
About You
You're a confident, organised leader with robust site experience and a hands-on
approach to getting things done safely and to standard.
To be successful in this role you will have:
Demonstrated experience supervising or delivering commercial and domestic construction projects
Experience managing multiple projects simultaneously, ideally in sectors such as education, aged care, health, and government
Solid understanding of building codes, WHS requirements, and quality standards
Proven ability to lead trades and subcontractors on active construction sites
Effective communication and leadership skills
Robust organisational and problem-solving abilities
Proficiency with project documentation and computer-based reporting (MS Office & site management tools)
