Wilson Plumbing and Drainage – Preston VIC
Wilson Plumbing and Drainage is seeking a reliable and motivated Delivery Driver / Warehouse Worker to support our warehouse and site operations. This hands‐on role is responsible for the safe and timely delivery of plumbing materials to construction sites, customers and company locations, while also assisting with warehouse operations, stock control and order preparation.
The successful candidate will be safety‐focused, physically fit, organised and committed to providing excellent service to both internal and external customers.
Key Responsibilities
Delivery & Transport
Deliver plumbing materials, equipment and supplies to construction sites, warehouses and customers.
Plan delivery routes to ensure efficient and timely service.
Load, secure and transport goods safely in accordance with road and workplace safety requirements.
Complete delivery documentation and maintain accurate records.
Perform daily vehicle inspections and basic maintenance checks.
Maintain vehicles in a clean, safe and roadworthy condition.
Warehouse Operations
Receive, inspect and accurately store incoming stock.
Pick, pack and prepare orders for delivery or customer collection.
Load and unload vehicles using forklifts and manual handling techniques.
Assist with stocktakes and inventory management.
Maintain accurate stock records and report discrepancies.
Ensure the warehouse remains clean, organised and compliant with safety standards.
Team Support
Liaise with warehouse staff,



plumbers, supervisors and project teams to coordinate deliveries.
Assist with general warehouse duties as required.
Follow all company policies, procedures and workplace health and safety requirements.
Contribute to a positive and productive team environment.
Skills & Experience
Essential Requirements
Current HR (Heavy Rigid) Driver's Licence.
Current Forklift Licence.
Strong commitment to workplace health and safety.
Good communication and interpersonal skills.
Strong time-management and organisational skills.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Physically fit and capable of manual handling and warehouse duties.
Reliable, punctual and professional.
Desirable
Previous experience in a delivery driving or warehouse role.
Basic understanding of plumbing products and materials.
Experience working within the construction or trade industry.
