Hutchies is seeking an experienced and drivenSite Foremanto lead the delivery of an exciting$3 million construction project at Mt Isa Hospital.
This is a12 Month Opportunitywith the potential for ongoing career opportunities beyond the project.
We're open to applications from bothlocalandFIFOcandidates, offering a3 weeks on, 1 week offroster, withaccommodation provided.
This role is ideal for someone who enjoys taking ownership on site, leading trades and subcontractors, and driving projects through to successful completion while maintaining Hutchies' high standards for safety, quality, and culture.

Responsibilities
As a Site Foreman, your responsibilities will include:
Supervise and coordinate daily activities of the site workforce.
Ensure compliance with project plans, specifications, and safety regulations.
Monitor project progress and maintain schedules.
Conduct site inspections and address issues as they arise.
Liaise with clients, subcontractors, and suppliers to meet project requirements.
Oversee the quality of workmanship and materials used on-site.
Maintain accurate records of site activities, including daily reports and site diaries.
Plan and manage works to meet safety, quality, program, and budget objectives.
Review and improve Work Method Statements prior to execution.
Complete any required permits to work.
Communicate effectively with the workforce on project matters.
Provide leadership and guidance to Tradespersons and Leading Hands.
Ensure delivery aligns with drawings and specifications.
Manage rectification of any construction defects.
Requirements
To be successful in this role, you should have:
Relevant tertiary qualifications in the respective field for this role
3 – 5 years' experience in a similar role
Strong attention to detail and organisational skills
Skilled written and verbal communication skills
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
Strong knowledge of market conditions, construction techniques, and industry standards
Ability to work in a team environment and have initiative when working independently
Strong relationship building with all relevant stakeholders
A down-to-earth, fun, friendly and professional approach to your work
Agency submissions will not be considered for this role
