We work across commercial construction, industrial automation, and water/wastewater infrastructure, and we're looking for an experienced Estimator to help drive our next stage of growth.
About the role
You'll be the numbers behind the wins — estimating commercial construction fit-outs, small-to-medium industrial projects, and switchboard/control system works.
This is a hands-on role with real ownership of the estimating process, working directly with the Director on pricing strategy and tender submissions.
What you'll be doing
Estimating electrical works for commercial construction projects (fit-outs, new builds, refurbishments $500k - $1.5m)
Pricing small industrial projects — control systems, motor control, switchboard supply
Reading and interpreting drawings, SLDs, and specifications to build accurate cost breakdowns
Sourcing supplier and subcontractor pricing
Preparing tender documentation, returnable schedules,
and WHS compliance documents
Handing over won projects cleanly to the delivery team
What you'll bring
Solid experience estimating commercial construction electrical works (essential)
Comfortable pricing smaller industrial jobs — panels, control gear, motors, VSDs
Strong drawing and specification literacy
Sharp attention to detail and a genuine care about getting numbers right
Ability to juggle multiple quotes and deadlines without dropping the ball
Highly regarded
Switchboard quoting experience (AS/NZS *****, enclosure systems such as Elsteel)
Exposure to industrial automation or process control environments
