Our client is experiencing significant growth in Australia and internationally.
A newly created role exists for a career driven finance graduate, wanting to get a foot into the commercial door OR an already experienced receivables person.
You will be responsible for providing financial, administrative, and clerical support to the finance team.
You will manage incoming payments, ensuring accurate invoicing and maintaining customer accounts, including monitoring outstanding receivables, reconciling accounts and supporting effective cash flow management.
Reporting to the FC, and working closely with another AR person, your duties will include:
Preparing and issuing customer invoices
Monitoring accounts to identify debts and follow up on overdue payments
Allocating incoming payments and reconciling customer accounts
Investigating and resolving invoice discrepancies and payment issues
Managing customer credit limits and performing credit checks
Preparing aged debtors reports and providing updates
Supporting cash flow forecasting through accurate receivables reporting
Assisting with month end reconciliations and reporting.
Our ideal applicant will have demonstrated experience of 2+ years in a similar role, with a strong understanding of invoicing, collections and reconciliations.
We require a solid organiser with very strong communication skills.
This role would also suit a recently qualified finance graduate, looking for a first move into the commercial world.
Your experience in a high volume transactional environment would be a distinct advantage, along with your prior exposure to accounting/ERP systems.
