The Regional IT Manager is responsible for overseeing all IT operations across our schools in the APAC region, including Australia, New Zealand, Vietnam and Indonesia and the APAC Head Office in North Sydney.
Responsibilities and deliverables include efficient day-to-day IT service delivery, drives operational excellence, and supports business transformation through effective technology adoption. This includes full accountability for local IT operations, service levels, and IT budget management.
This role will have a focus on building strong internal client (school principals & exec team) relationships - creating trust and confidence. There will be an element of hands on IT service delivery, escalations and delivering technical efficiencies.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
Business Relationship Management
Represent IT in local management forums and build strong cross-functional stakeholder relationships.
Understand business processes and regional markets to identify and align suitable IT solutions.
Act as the key liaison between regional teams and Group IT, ensuring alignment and synergy.
Project Management
Lead regional IT projects end-to-end, ensuring delivery within scope, time, and budget.
Drive strategic programs,
governance standards, and participation in steering committees.
IT Budget Controlling
Manage and optimise regional IT budgets with accurate forecasting and variance control.
IT Service Management
Oversee IT service delivery, ensuring performance through SLAs, KPIs, and vendor management.
Embed ITIL-aligned processes and continuously monitor and address service performance gaps.
Improve service processes, maturity, and standardisation in line with Group IT practices.
Governance & Documentation
Ensure compliance through strong documentation, governance, risk, asset, and supplier management.
THE IDEAL CANDIDATE WILL HAVE:
TECHNICAL SKILLS & EXPERIENCE
Strong technical expertise across infrastructure, networks, servers, ERPs, APIs, and data structures.
Experience managing IT budgets, including forecasting and cost optimisation.
Solid understanding of ITIL-based service operations and performance management.
LEADERSHIP & PERSONAL ATTRIBUTES

A valid Working with Children Check and willingness to obtain similar background checks for countries you will be engaged to work in.
