Concrete Finishers
to join our growing civil services team working across Local Government and council projects.
This is a hands‐on role suited to someone who takes pride in delivering high‐quality finishes, works well within a crew, and is looking for consistent, long‐term work with a reputable company.

Dowsing Group is a leading civil services contractor that has proudly delivered exceptional quality projects since ****. Today, our team of around 150 employees provide specialty civil sub‐contractor services to major councils, LGA's and contractors in Australia and Current Zealand.
Some of our services to Local Govt Councils include removal and reinstatement of footpaths/driveways/verges/kerbing, reticulation repairs, site clean and backfill using suitable materials.

Your role
You'll work as part of a concrete crew delivering high‐quality finishes across residential and streetscape projects
Perform all aspects of concrete finishing to a high standard
Work across footpaths, pavements, crossovers and pram ramps
Set out string lines,



set up formwork to correct levels and base prep
Complete finishing techniques including broom finish, trowel finish and liquid limestone, exposed aggregate
Assist with preparation, placement and finishing of concrete
Maintain productivity while ensuring attention to detail and quality
Follow safety procedures and contribute to a safe work environment
Support crew operations and work collaboratively on site
Ideal Candidate:
Minimum 3 years' experience in concreting
At least 1 year of residential concreting experience (footpaths, pavements, crossovers, pram ramps)
Ability to read and interpret plans/drawings (highly desirable)
Strong finishing skills and attention to detail
Physically fit and capable of manual labour
Strong work ethic and safety‐conscious
Ability to pass Drug & Alcohol screening
Licences & Tickets

C Class Manual Driver's Licence

MR Licence (desirable)
Quickcut Ticket (desirable)
