Our branch in Milperra is looking for a
Trade Counter Sales Assistant
who is passionate about customer service and building strong relationships with our trade customers. What can you expect in this role?
Sales & Customer Service
– greeting customers at the trade counter, understanding their requirements, and recommending the right products and solutions
Order Processing
– quoting, processing sales orders, and handling phone and counter enquiries efficiently
Product Knowledge
– developing a strong understanding of our range of concrete reinforcement, accessories and tools to confidently advise customers
Relationship Building
– maintaining a qualified, friendly presence that keeps customers coming back
Store Presentation
– keeping the trade counter and showroom tidy, well-stocked, and well-presented
Teamwork
– supporting the branch team, embracing Oriem's values, policies, and procedures, and pitching in with picking/packing or loading when needed




This is a true all-rounder position with genuine room to grow. Beyond the trade counter, you'll have the opportunity to build skills and take on responsibilities across
warehousing, production, and deliveries/driving
, giving you exposure to the full end-to-end operation and a clear path to develop within the business.
Location:
Milperra
Hours:
Monday – Friday 6:30am – 4:30pm
Saturday 7:00am – 11:00am (rotating fortnightly)
Our ideal team member:
You don't need industry experience, but a genuine passion for sales and customer service is essential, along with confidence, initiative, and a proactive attitude. You'll receive full on-the-job training in our products and systems.
General computer skills are required. A forklift license is an advantage but not essential. A driver's license is beneficial given the opportunity to assist with deliveries as your role grows. Our business is focused on driving the success of our customers through end-to-end supply solutions and great customer service every step of the way.
