We are seeking an experienced qualified with a background in transport or warehouse-related field to join our team as a Warehouse Transport Administrator. The Role:
As a Warehouse Transport Administrator, you will play a crucial role in supporting the day-to-day operations of our clients. Your responsibilities will include:
Responding to incoming enquiries with a consultative approach
Coordinating client freight projects, events, and expos
Quoting diverse and complex freight movements for our clients
Providing comprehensive logistics support to our clients
Interacting with transport suppliers daily
Coordinate daily cross‐dock operations to ensure goods are received, staged and despatched on time
Receive inbound stock and ensure all goods are accurate & undamaged
Complete daily and weekly checks of forklifts, reach trucks and other MHE, reporting defects immediately
Remove damaged or unsafe equipment from service until repaired
Keep the warehouse clean, organised and free of hazards, including clear walkways and emergency exits
Enforce PPE and high‐visibility clothing requirements for all workers and visitors
Monitor staging area volumes and bookings to support effective vehicle scheduling
Manage stock and elevate issues where goods remain onsite beyond two business days
Report damaged or lost goods
Assist with audits, equipment servicing and warehouse layout improvement
Performing various other tasks as outlined in the detailed position description
What We Are Looking For
Skills & Experience:
Experience with stock control - Must have
Be physically fit and mobile
Be solution‐focused with a can‐do attitude
1-2 years Previous experience in a warehouse – Highly regarded but not essential
High attention to detail with a focus on accuracy and process improvement
Comfortable using Warehouse Management Systems (WMS), TMS and PDAs
