Senior Manager - Regulatory Change & Obligations
A leading Australian fund is seeking a Senior Manager – Obligations & Regulatory Change to join its Risk & Compliance team. This is a highly visible role working across the business to strengthen obligations management practices, drive regulatory change initiatives, and provide strategic insight on the evolving regulatory landscape. The position offers significant exposure to senior stakeholders, executive leadership, and governance forums while contributing to key transformation and compliance uplift programs.
About the Role
Reporting into a senior compliance leader, you will play a critical role in supporting the organisation's obligations management framework and ensuring regulatory changes are effectively assessed, governed, and implemented across the business.
Key responsibilities include:
Leading regulatory change initiatives, including impact assessments, implementation planning, and ongoing compliance monitoring.
Driving horizon scanning activities to identify emerging legislation, regulatory developments, policy changes, and industry trends.
Supporting the management and enhancement of enterprise obligations frameworks and obligations registers.
Providing thought leadership and strategic advice on emerging regulatory themes and compliance risks.
Preparing reporting and insights for senior leadership, Boards, and Committees.
Partnering with stakeholders across the business to embed strong risk and compliance practices and drive accountability.
Supporting compliance framework uplift, governance enhancements, and risk culture initiatives.
About You
8+ years' experience within Risk, Compliance, Obligations Management, or Regulatory Change.
Strong knowledge of compliance and risk management frameworks.
Experience leading complex regulatory change programs and business engagement initiatives.
Proven horizon scanning and regulatory impact assessment capability.
Exceptional stakeholder management and influencing skills.
The ability to lead, coach and drive outcomes across complex organisational environments.
Excellent communication, analysis and problem-solving skills.
