About the Role:
As the Pathways Team Leader, you will provide day-to-day leadership and hub oversight to a multidisciplinary team delivering integrated, person-centred support to people experiencing disadvantage, vulnerability and social marginalisation.
Working within Community Services & Housing, you will lead with BaptistCare's values and best practice principles, supporting employees, students and volunteers to deliver high-quality outcomes for the communities we serve.
About You:
You're a confident and compassionate leader with community services experience, strong people skills and a passion for supporting vulnerable communities. You bring sound judgement, a collaborative approach and the ability to lead a team in a fast-paced, community-based workplace.
Essential Qualifications & Experience
Degree or post grad qualifications in Community Development, Social work or related field
Minimum of three (3) years working in a Community Services environment and Community
Development
Mental Health First Aid accreditation, Trauma Informed Care training (or willingness to participate in training)
Ability to work within an integrated approach that is person centred and includes strengths base, narrative
A current and valid Working with Children Check
Ability in creating, developing and implementing program plans within the Best Practice Frameworks of the Community Service Sector.
Strong leadership and management skills
Demonstrate an understanding and appreciation of BaptistCare's Christian identity and promote the organisation's values through interactions at work
