Videographer | Photographer | Content Creator

CIGWELD | ESAB is looking for an accomplished videographer and photographer to lead the creation of premium visual content across product launches, digital campaigns, social media, events and brand storytelling.
This is a hands-on role for an experienced creative who can own the entire production process—from concept development and shoot planning through to filming, photography, editing and final delivery.
As our resident content producer, you'll create the imagery and video that represents CIGWELD across Australia and international markets. One day you could be producing cinematic product footage; the next, capturing content at MotorEx or Summernats, directing a customer story or filming precision welding with specialised HELIOS camera technology.

The Role
Reporting to the Marketing Communications Coordinator, you will lead the production of professional video and photography for:
Product launches and brand campaigns
Social media, YouTube and website content
Product demonstrations and educational videos
Events, exhibitions and location shoots
Digital, print and distributor marketing materials
You will manage projects from initial concept through to final delivery,



ensuring every piece of content reflects a premium and consistent brand standard.
What You'll Create
Video and Social Content
Produce high-quality short-form and long-form video content.
Create platform-specific content for TikTok, Instagram Reels, Facebook, YouTube and digital campaigns.
Film product demonstrations, interviews, educational content and brand stories.
Capture cinematic footage of products, technology, people and real-world applications.
Adapt creative concepts for different audiences, platforms and formats.
Product and Commercial Photography
Product photography of welding machines, consumables, safety equipment and accessories for web and print.
Produce studio, lifestyle, macro, technical and in-field product imagery.
Capture events, workplaces, customer stories and brand environments.
Manage lighting, composition, backgrounds and creative direction.
Retouch and prepare imagery for digital and print applications.
Maintain a consistent photography style across the brand.
Production and Post-Production
Operate skilled cinema, mirrorless and DSLR camera systems.
Work confidently with lenses, lighting, audio, gimbals and specialist filming equipment.
Capture precision welding footage using HELIOS camera technology.
Edit in Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro or equivalent.
Create motion graphics, titles and effects using Adobe After Effects or similar.
Apply professional colour grading, sound design and finishing.
Deliver content in formats including 9:16,



4:5, 1:1 and 16:9.
Collaborate with designers and 3D animators to incorporate CGI and visual effects.
Events and Location Shoots
Capture content at major events such as MotorEx, Summernats and industry exhibitions.
Travel to customer sites, workshops and other locations.
Independently plan shoots, prepare equipment and manage production requirements.
Partner with the marketing team to turn campaign ideas into compelling visual content.
About You
You are an experienced videographer and photographer with a strong commercial portfolio and several years of professional production experience.
You can confidently manage a shoot from start to finish, balance creativity with commercial objectives and consistently deliver polished work across multiple channels.
You'll bring:
Proven professional videography and photography experience.
A strong portfolio of commercial, product or brand content.
Advanced camera, lighting, audio and editing skills.
Solid knowledge of social-first content and digital platforms.
Excellent planning, organisation and project-management skills.
The ability to work independently and collaborate with a broader creative team.
A sharp eye for detail, composition and visual storytelling.
The confidence to work in workshops, industrial environments and live events.
