A well-established, family-owned practice just two hours from Melbourne is seeking a mixed practice veterinarian.

The practice handles a diverse caseload of approximately 70% small animals and 30% large animals, including beef, sheep, equine, and the occasional goat/alpaca. With no dairy work, you can say goodbye to very early mornings and late nights! The clinic is dedicated to providing gold-standard patient care and values professional growth and development. Work-life balance is also a priority, and the practice has partnered with the Lincoln Institute to foster staff wellbeing through a positive workplace culture and strong leadership.
Clinic hours are 9 am to 6 pm Monday to Friday and 9 am to 12 pm Saturday, with the practice closed on Sundays.




The team will soon to be moving into a brand-recent purpose-built facility featuring separate dog and cat waiting areas, a dedicated dental suite, and modern equipment to support high-quality care.
On offer is a salary of $90,000 to $170,000 plus a generous CPD allowance and one week of conference leave. Four weeks of paid annual leave are provided, and additional unpaid leave is encouraged. There is a strong focus on personal and professional development.
Sponsorship (work permit) available for experienced overseas vets. Applicants must have a Bachelor of Veterinary Science (or equivalent) and be eligible for registration as a veterinary practitioner in Australia.
