National Civil & Foundations Pty Ltd is seeking a skilled and experienced
Machine Operator (Excavators)
to join our team on a
full-time basis
. This is a critical operational position that plays a vital role in the successful delivery of our civil construction and foundation projects. As a Machine Operator, you will be responsible for the safe and efficient operation of excavation equipment on site, contributing directly to project timelines and quality outcomes. Your expertise in machinery operation will be essential to maintaining our reputation for excellence in the construction industry.
About the project
NCF is delivering the piling & detailed earthworks package at our current data centre project in Melbourne.
About the role
Operate excavators (5–50t fleet) on detailed earthworks and service excavation
Cut to design levels for footings, slabs and in-ground services trenches
Work safely to survey pegs/marks and design levels
Load trucks, trim batters and support general site earthworks
Work alongside piling crews, surveyors and labourers to keep the program moving
About you
Tier 1 project experience highly regarded — comfortable operating to Tier 1 safety and quality standards
VOC / relevant plant tickets highly regarded
Experience reading levels off survey pegs or GPS machine control an advantage
White Card and current driver's licence
