Fleet Controller
to join our team at our Forrestfield depot. This is a rapid-paced role that is critical to the efficient day-to-day coordination of our fleet, drivers, and freight operations.

About the Role
As a Fleet Controller, you will be responsible for coordinating vehicle movements, supporting drivers, and ensuring freight is picked up and delivered safely, efficiently, and on schedule. You'll work closely with customers, drivers, and the operations team to maintain high service standards while ensuring compliance with company and regulatory requirements.
Key Responsibilities
Coordinate daily fleet and driver schedules.
Allocate loads and optimise vehicle utilisation.
Monitor vehicle movements and delivery timeframes.
Maintain regular communication with drivers throughout the day.
Liaise with customers regarding delivery schedules and updates.
Respond quickly to operational issues and implement effective solutions.
Ensure compliance with fatigue management,



Chain of Responsibility (CoR), and transport regulations.
Maintain accurate transport documentation and operational records.
Work collaboratively with the operations team to achieve performance targets.
About You
To be successful in this role you will have:
Previous experience in a transport dispatch, fleet control, or logistics coordination role.
Strong knowledge of the WA road transport industry.
Excellent organisational and time management skills.
The ability to make sound decisions in a fast-moving environment.
Strong communication and customer service skills.
Good computer skills and experience using transport management systems.
Knowledge of NHVR requirements, Chain of Responsibility, and fatigue management (preferred).
A positive attitude and the ability to work effectively within a team.
