Founded in ****, MySat was established with a vision to inform, connect, and entertain Australia's growing Arabic population by providing access to authentic international Arabic television. Over the past two decades, MySat Arabic has played a pioneering role in helping Arabic-speaking families stay connected to their language, culture, and homelands.
The Opportunity
MySat Australia is seeking a talented and creative Social Media & Content Creator/Developer to join our Sydney team.
This role will be responsible for growing and managing MySat's digital presence across social media platforms, creating engaging original content, promoting our OTT streaming platform MySat Go, and representing the company at community and industry events.
The successful candidate will also conduct interviews for our upcoming podcast channel and help strengthen MySat's connection with audiences both locally and internationally.
Key Responsibilities
Content Creation & Production
Create, film, edit, and publish high-quality original content, including:
Graphics and social media assets
Written content and captions
Ensure content aligns with MySat's brand identity and audience interests.
Develop creative content ideas and campaigns.
Maintain and manage a content calendar.
Support broader marketing and audience growth initiatives.
Trend Monitoring & Innovation
Monitor platform trends, algorithms, viral content, and emerging social media opportunities.
Incorporate relevant trends, audio, formats, and storytelling techniques into content strategies.
Community Engagement
Build and nurture online communities.
Respond to comments, messages,



and audience inquiries.
Engage with followers and participate in online conversations to strengthen brand loyalty.
Analytics & Performance Reporting
Track and analyse key performance metrics, including:
Reach
Views
Engagement
Click-through rates
Audience growth
Use insights and data to optimise future content and demonstrate return on investment (ROI).
Events, Interviews & Podcast Development
Attend networking events and community functions representing MySat.
Conduct interviews with guests and community leaders.
Assist in the development and production of MySat's recent podcast content.
Skill & Experience
Essential Skills & Qualifications
Technical & Creative Skills
Proficiency with content creation and editing tools, including:
CapCut
Other relevant editing and design software
Social Media Expertise
Strong understanding of major social media platforms and their algorithms, including:
Instagram
Facebook
TikTok
YouTube
Copywriting & Storytelling
Ability to write engaging captions, scripts, promotional copy, and social media content.
Strong storytelling skills with a creative and audience-focused approach.
Comfortable appearing on camera when required.
Confident conducting interviews and representing the brand at events and networking opportunities.
Education
Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Journalism, Media, or a related field preferred.
Language Skills
Arabic language skills highly desirable.

Our office is conveniently located approximately 5 minutes from Burwood Station.
Salary & Working Hours
Salary package and weekly working hours will be discussed during the interview process and will be based on the successful candidate's experience and qualifications.
