Key Responsibilities
Assist participants with personal care including bathing, grooming, dressing, toileting, and mobility in accordance with care plans
Support implementation of care plans developed by Registered Nurses or allied health professionals
Assist with basic clinical tasks such as monitoring vital signs, observing health conditions, and reporting changes




Provide support with medication administration under supervision and where authorised
Assist with rehabilitation exercises and therapeutic programs as directed by healthcare professionals
Support participants with nutrition, feeding, and hydration needs
Maintain accurate and timely documentation of care, observations, and incidents in line with organisational and NDIS requirements
Assist in maintaining a clean, safe, and hygienic environment for participants
Provide emotional support and reassurance to promote participant wellbeing
Work collaboratively with nurses, allied health professionals, and support staff to ensure continuity of care
Comply with NDIS Practice Standards, infection control procedures, workplace health and safety requirements, and duty of care obligations
Skills and Experience Required
Certificate III or higher in Aged Care, Individual Support, or equivalent
Minimum 12 months' relevant work experience required Australia/Overseas
Current
First Aid and CPR certificate
National Police Check and
Working with Children Check (or willingness to obtain)
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to work independently and in a team
Empathy, patience, and a strong commitment to quality care
Desirable
Experience working with elderly clients or people with disabilities
Valid driver's licence and access to a vehicle (for community care roles)
Multilingual abilities a plus
Ability to work various shifts including weekends and public holidays
