About the Role
We are seeking a motivated and reliable Sales Assistant to join our team at Sunshine Marketplace. This is a full-time permanent position ideal for someone who enjoys working with customers, takes pride in maintaining a well-presented store, and thrives in a fast-paced retail environment.
You will be responsible for assisting customers, processing sales transactions, maintaining store presentation, replenishing stock, and supporting the day-to-day operations of the store.
Key Responsibilities
Deliver exceptional customer service and create a positive shopping experience.
Assist customers with product enquiries and recommendations.
Operate the point-of-sale (POS) system and handle transactions accurately.
Replenish stock and maintain product displays.
Ensure the store is clean, organised, and well-presented at all times.
Assist with receiving, unpacking, and pricing stock deliveries.




Conduct stock counts and support inventory management activities.
Work towards achieving store sales targets and operational goals.
Follow company policies, procedures, and workplace safety requirements.
Open and close the store when required.
Skills & Experience
Previous retail or customer service experience preferred.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Friendly, professional, and customer-focused attitude.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Good organisational skills and attention to detail.
Ability to work in a fast-paced retail setting.
Versatile availability, including weekends and public holidays when required.
Eligibility Requirements
Australian Citizens and Permanent Residents only.
Must have full working rights in Australia.
Working Days Must have
Sunday and Monday
Should be forthcoming about any long holidays that you are seeking.
