At Forward Ability Support, we're a not-for-profit organization with over 60 years of experience supporting people with spinal cord injuries and similar neurological conditions to live independently and achieve their goals.
We're currently seeking compassionate Personal Support Workers to join our team in
Newcastle, Oakhampton Heights, Wickham and Arcadia Vale

Newcastle
Fortnightly Monday, Tuesday,: 6:00 am - 8:30 am
Fortnightly Monday & Friday: 12:30 pm-2:30 pm
Fortnightly Thursday & Friday: 6 am-8 am
Fortnightly Sunday: 6:30 am- 9 am
Wickham
Fortnightly Monday to Saturday 6am-9:30am
Monday, Tuesday, Friday and Saturday: 6am - 8am
What you'll be doing:
You'll provide personalized, high-intensity support within clients' homes, including:
Showring and hygiene maintenance
Mobility assistance, transfers and hoist use
Bladder, bowel and catheter care
Meal preparation and feeding assistance
Household tasks and domestic support
Community access using the client's vehicle
Completing daily progress notes

To join our team, you'll need
NDIS Worker Screening Check (or willingness to obtain)
National Police Check
First Aid & CPR Certificate
Driver's licence and access to a vehicle
Compassion, reliability and a positive attitude
Please note:
You must be available to work short split shifts where required.
All new team members attend a paid 3-day induction in Lidcombe.
