Advanced Cranes & Rigging
Victoria
Be the People Power Behind the Lifting Power!
Join Our Team
Advanced Cranes & Rigging has built a reputation for delivering secure, reliable lifting solutions across some of Victoria's largest and most technically challenging construction, infrastructure, commercial, industrial, rail and renewable energy projects. As our business continues to grow, we're investing in our people, systems and safety culture—and we're looking for an experienced
HSEQ Advisor
to help drive that journey.
Based at our Derrimut Head Office and reporting to the HSEQ Lead, you'll partner with our operational teams to deliver safe, compliant and high-performing outcomes across Victoria.
This is
not
a desk-based compliance role, nor is it purely a field safety role. It is a genuine
***** field and office role
requiring someone who is equally comfortable influencing safe work practices on construction sites as they are leading investigations, supporting injury management and driving continual improvement within our HSEQ systems. You'll work across metropolitan and regional Victoria, building trusted relationships with crane crews, supervisors and clients while helping strengthen both our safety culture and management systems.
We're looking for someone who is confident speaking up when it matters, building credibility with experienced construction personnel and earning influence through practical advice rather than policing compliance.
What You'll Be Doing
Conduct HSEQ inspections, audits and meaningful safety conversations across construction and infrastructure projects.
Build trusted relationships with crane crews, supervisors, operational leaders and clients while positively influencing safe work practices.
Identify hazards, complete risk assessments,
review SWMS and provide practical HSEQ support.
Lead ICAM incident investigations, support workplace injury management and coordinate corrective actions + validate implementation.
Maintain and improve our Integrated Management System in accordance with ISO ****, ISO ***** and ISO *****.
Develop HSEQ procedures, toolbox talks, safety alerts, training material and internal communications.
Analyse HSEQ trends, maintain reporting and drive practical continuous improvement initiatives.
About You
Certificate IV or Diploma in Work Health & Safety (or equivalent).
Minimum 5 years' HSEQ experience within construction, civil or heavy industry.
Strong knowledge of Australian WHS legislation, ISO management systems and risk management principles.
ICAM Lead Investigator accreditation and Return to Work Coordinator certification.
Experience using electronic HSEQ management systems (e.g. SkyTrust, HammerTech, 3D Safety or similar).
Excellent written communication and report writing skills.
Strong stakeholder engagement and influencing skills.
Self-motivated, organised and able to work independently while managing competing priorities.
Current Victorian Driver Licence.
Why Join Advanced Cranes & Rigging?
Competitive remuneration package, including company vehicle, laptop and mobile phone.
Genuine ***** mix of field and office responsibilities.
Diverse work across major construction, infrastructure, rail, commercial, industrial and renewable energy projects.
High level of autonomy, variety and responsibility.
Opportunity to make a genuine impact on both frontline operations and the continual improvement of our HSEQ systems.
We thank all applicants for their interest; however, only shortlisted candidates will be contacted.
