Melbourne

TwentyThree Projects is a fresh, dynamic
national
team delivering custom shop fit-outs and standout designs for businesses of all sizes—from local legends to big-name brands. With offices in
Scoresby (VIC)
and
North Lakes (QLD)
, and over 20 years of industry experience behind us, we know how to turn excellent ideas into practical, eye-catching spaces.
We're all about smart design, quality delivery, and making the process as smooth (and enjoyable) as possible for our clients.
This role will be based in our Scoresby Factory.
ABOUT THE ROLE
We are seeking an experienced and dynamic
Factory Foreman
to join our team at our Scoresby facility. This is a
full-time position
that plays a critical leadership role within our manufacturing operations. As Factory Foreman, you will oversee daily production activities, manage our workshop team, and ensure that all work meets our standards whilst maintaining safe working practices. This role is essential to the success of our business, bridging the gap between management strategy and on-the-floor execution. You will report to management and have direct responsibility for the smooth operation of our carpentry and cabinet-making production line.
WHAT YOU WILL BE DOING
Supervising and managing a team of cabinet makers, including task allocation, performance monitoring and professional development
Scheduling and coordinating production workflows to ensure timely completion of projects whilst maintaining quality standards
Conducting regular safety inspections and ensuring all staff comply with health and safety regulations and company policies
Monitoring inventory levels of materials, tools and equipment, and coordinating with suppliers as needed

Quality control oversight, including inspecting finished products and rectifying any defects before delivery
Communicating regularly with senior management regarding production progress, challenges and opportunities
Training and mentoring junior staff members to develop their skills and expertise
Identifying opportunities for process improvements and implementing efficiency measures
Ensuring the workshop is maintained in a clean, organised and safe condition at all times
WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR
Proven experience as a Foreman or Supervisor in a carpentry, cabinet making or similar manufacturing environment
Strong knowledge of carpentry techniques, tools, materials and best practices in the industry
Ability to lead, motivate and manage a team effectively
Excellent organisational and time management skills with the ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously
Sound understanding of health and safety regulations relevant to workshop environments
Experience with production planning and scheduling
Strong communication skills, both verbal and written
Problem-solving ability and a proactive approach to identifying and addressing workplace issues
Proficiency with relevant software systems or production management tools is desirable
A commitment to quality craftsmanship and continuous improvement
A valid driver's licence is preferred
TEAM & BENEFITS
This is a permanent, full-time role where you'll become a key part of the team—not just another number.
We're a down-to-earth bunch who take pride in what we do, support each other, and enjoy the ride along the way. Expect a solid team environment, variety in your day, and the chance to make a real impact.
