About the Role
We are looking for a Junior Administrator to join our growing team at our Sydney CBD office. This is a full-time role that plays a key part in supporting the smooth day-to-day operations of our accounting practice. Your ability to learn quickly, build rapport, and foster solid working relationships will be a very key part for your success in this role.
The Role
Key Responsibilities
In this role,
you will initially work under the guidance of experienced administrators as you develop your skills and knowledge. Your responsibilities will include:
Reception & Office Support
Greet clients and visitors and create a positive first impression
Answer and direct phone calls and manage general email enquiries
Manage meeting rooms, and ensure that the meeting rooms and kitchen areas are tidy and well-stocked
Collect and distribute mail, coordinate office banking, and manage office supply orders
Administrative Support
Assist with general filing, scanning, printing, and archiving of documents
Maintain and update client records and databases
Support the on-boarding of new clients and preparation of engagement documentation
Support lodgement of compliance documents
Provide general administrative support to accountants and partners as needed
Maintain office supplies and assist with general office coordination
What You Bring
You'll bring enthusiasm, a willingness to learn, and a strong sense of organisation. Confident with technology and comfortable engaging with people, you'll enjoy supporting a busy professional team across administration and reception duties. Specifically, you will bring:
A professional, friendly, and approachable manner
Strong communication skills (verbal and written)
Great organisational skills and attention to detail
Confidence using Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook)
A can-do attitude and willingness to learn
Completion, or close to completing qualifications in business administration preferred but not essential for the role
No prior experience required as training will be provided. Previous office experience would be a bonus, but not essential for the role.
