Chief Operating Officer (COO), Disability Services
The Company is seeking a Chief Operating Officer for its Disability Services. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing strategic leadership and holistic stewardship of the disability services portfolio, driving sustainable growth, operational excellence, and meaningful community impact. This role is pivotal in shaping the future of disability services, requiring a combination of strategic vision, commercial acumen, operational excellence, and deep sector expertise. The COO will be accountable for the complete disability services portfolio, including accommodation, community supports, allied health, employment pathways, social enterprises, and the largest carer services program in the state.
Key responsibilities include strengthening workforce capability, fostering strategic partnerships, and leading technology-enabled transformation to enhance service delivery and improve outcomes for people with disabilities and their families.
The ideal candidate will be an accomplished executive with experience in leading large,



complex service portfolios within disability services or a comparable human services environment. They must have a proven track record in delivering strategy, driving operational excellence, and sustainable growth, with a strong understanding of service viability and employee relations within a regulated funding setting. The role demands an authentic, collaborative, and values-led executive who can combine commercial discipline with emotional intelligence, resilience, and the ability to influence a broad range of internal and external stakeholders. The Chief Operating Officer will join the Executive Leadership Team and is expected to be a key player in the organization's mission to create genuine places of belonging and to improve the lives, rights, and opportunities of people with disabilities.
