Provide specialist nursing expertise within an interdisciplinary framework to assist individuals and their families-carers to adjust to living with diabetes and-or other endocrinology conditions including the provision of education and health promotion activities.
Act as a clinical resource for internal and external stakeholders, including community organisation(s) and health professionals, to provide specialist advice, knowledge and support.

To hold Credentialled Diabetes Educator status Demonstrated experience in working with patients with diabetes including GDM; paediatric and insulin pump management To be willing to work across multiple sites Note:

Details of appointment Permanent, part-time, day worker position, working 64 hours per fortnight, commencing as soon as possible.

Applicants should note that, for a period of twelve months from the date of publication, this selection process may be used to fill subsequent or similar full time, part time, and casual vacancies. Salary $109,767 to $115,813 per annum pro rata. Our Employer 12% superannuation contribution is on top of this amount.
Salary range is in accordance with Nurses and Midwives (Tasmania State Service) Agreement ****. In addition, the following allowances calculated on the salaried incremental point may be available: Post Graduate Allowance of up to 10% based on qualification type Salary Packaging
