About the role
This is a role where your technical expertise directly shapes the customer experience and the reputation of two much-loved vehicle brands in the Northern Rivers region.
Your day-to-day will keep you engaged and challenged:
Carry out comprehensive servicing and repairs on Mazda and Hyundai vehicles to manufacturer standards, deepening your expertise across two distinct model ranges
Diagnose complex mechanical and electrical faults, with access to Mazda and Hyundai approved diagnostic tools and technology
Mentor and support junior technicians, giving you the opportunity to develop your leadership skills alongside your trade
Work closely with the service team to maintain efficient workshop workflow and meet turnaround targets
Complete accurate job documentation, ensuring your productivity and quality of work are properly recognised
About You
You bring solid hands-on experience and a genuine commitment to quality workmanship that the whole team can rely on.
More about you:
A Certificate III in Light Vehicle Mechanical Technology or equivalent trade qualification is essential
Proven experience as an automotive technician, ideally within a franchised dealership workplace
Strong diagnostic ability across both mechanical and electronic vehicle systems
A current and valid driver's licence
Attention to detail that means customers leave satisfied and vehicles leave right first time
A collaborative approach that makes you a valued presence in the workshop
