Truck Hydraulic Solutions is seeking an experienced
Hydraulic Fitter
to join our team at our Truganina, Victoria facility. This is a
full-time position
that plays a crucial role in the installation, maintenance, and repair of hydraulic systems for commercial vehicles and equipment. As a Hydraulic Fitter, you will be responsible for ensuring that all hydraulic components are correctly fitted, tested, and operational, directly contributing to the safety and reliability of our customers' vehicles and machinery. This is an on-site role based in Truganina, VIC ****, where you will work as part of a dedicated technical team.
Key responsibilities
Install, assemble, and fit hydraulic components, systems, and equipment on commercial vehicles and machinery
Diagnose hydraulic system faults using testing equipment and specialist knowledge
Perform maintenance and repair work on hydraulic PTO's, pumps, motors, and valves
Conduct pressure testing and leak detection on completed hydraulic installations
Strip, clean, inspect, and reassemble hydraulic components to restore functionality
Ensure all work complies with safety regulations, industry standards, and company procedures
Maintain accurate records of work completed, including maintenance logs and testing results
Collaborate with colleagues and supervisors to meet project deadlines and quality standards
Perform routine maintenance on workshop tools and equipment
What we're looking for
Trade qualification or proven apprenticeship in hydraulics, mechanical fitting, or a related field




Minimum of 3–5 years' experience working as a Hydraulic Fitter or in a similar mechanical role
Good knowledge of hydraulic systems, including pumps, motors, valves, cylinders, and accumulators
Experience with truck hydraulic systems is highly desirable
Valid driver's licence (Manual preferred)
Strong mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills
Excellent attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Good communication skills and reliability
Willingness to adhere to health and safety protocols and wear appropriate personal protective equipment
