About the Opportunity
LiveBetter is offering an exciting chance for a Preschool Teacher–Director to join our Childhood Education and Development team in Orange, NSW.
LiveBetter's Carer and Family Services team supports a diverse group of customers across the organisation, with a focus on providing carers, children and families opportunities to overcome obstacles and stay connected within their communities. Key projects include Preschools, Long Day Care, Out of School Care, and Early Intervention programs.
About the Role
As the Teacher–Director and Nominated Supervisor, you will oversee the day-to-dayto operations of the service and lead, guide and support a team to deliver highday operations of the service and lead, guide and support a team to deliver highquality early childhood education and care.
This is a fulltime, permanent position commencing as soon as practicable, this is based on a preschool operational model aligned with NSW school terms.
About You
The successful candidate will have:
Bachelor of Education – Early Childhood, or equivalent
Evidence of Early Childhood Teacher accreditation with NESA (NSW Education Standards Authority)
Prior experience as a Director of an Early Childhood Centre (desirable)
Demonstrated experience implementing the Early Years Learning Framework and National Quality Standards, including developing and delivering a play basedbased curriculum
A current unrestricted Australian Driver Licence and willingness to travel as required
Current First Aid and CPR certificates
Anaphylaxis and Asthma Management training
A current Statement of Attainment for
CHCPRT025 – Identify and Respond to Children and Young People at Risk
