Flexible schedule to work- Morning and Afternoon shifts
As an Food Services Assistant,you will ensure quality meals are delivered to our residents.
Undertake food preparation, plating and serving of food as directed by the Chef Manager.
Observe and maintain infection control guidelines in relation to cleaning and food hygiene standards and processes.
The Food Services assistant is responsible for assisting with the preparation and serving of meals under the guidance of the Chef.
We are looking for a cheerful, capable person who has experience working in Aged Care food provision. They also need to know how to prepare foods for people with different sensitivities, allergies and dietary choices.
A Food Hadling Certificate is essential and a current Police Check.
An understanding of and ability to be compliant with Residential Aged Care Standards, OH&S; and the Food Safety Act is important.
