We are seeking an experienced and dynamic
Store Manager
to lead our Wheel&Barrow; Homewares store in Doncaster, VIC ****. This is a full-time position offering the opportunity to drive store performance, lead a dedicated team, and create an exceptional customer experience in the competitive homewares retail sector. As Store Manager, you will be responsible for the overall success of the store, managing day-to-day operations whilst maintaining our brand standards and delivering strong commercial results. This role is crucial to our business strategy and offers the chance to make a tangible impact on store profitability and customer satisfaction.
What you'll be doing
Managing all aspects of store operations, including staffing, stock management, visual merchandising and customer service standards
Leading, motivating and developing your team to achieve sales targets and maintain high performance standards
Implementing company policies and procedures to ensure compliance with all regulatory requirements and brand guidelines
Analysing sales data and market trends to identify opportunities for growth and improve store profitability
Creating engaging visual displays and promotional campaigns that attract customers and drive sales of our homewares products
Managing inventory levels, stock rotation and ordering to minimise waste and maximise product availability
Delivering exceptional customer service and resolving customer concerns promptly and professionally
Recruiting, training and coaching team members to build a high-performing and engaged workforce
Building and maintaining strong relationships with suppliers, head office and local community
Monitoring and controlling costs, managing budgets and contributing to the overall financial performance of the store
What we're looking for
Proven experience as a Store Manager or similar leadership role within the retail sector, ideally in homewares or consumer goods




Strong commercial acumen with the ability to analyse sales performance, manage budgets and drive profitability
Excellent people management and leadership skills with the ability to motivate and develop team members
Demonstrated expertise in visual merchandising and creating compelling in-store displays
Strong organisational and time management skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities effectively
Customer service excellence and a passion for delivering outstanding retail experiences
Knowledge of inventory management systems and retail point-of-sale technology
Ability to work flexibly, including evenings and weekends as required by the retail environment
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Qualification in retail management or equivalent professional experience is highly desirable
