About the Role
Join our team as a Project Officer on a part time, fixed term basis to work at Monash Health based at the Monash Children's Hospital, Clayton.
This is a rare chance to shape the future of advanced practice neonatal nursing across Victoria. Working collaboratively with the Neonatal Advisory Group (NAG) NNP Working Group, you will coordinate the development of a structured Statewide educational framework that outlines competencies, standards and learning pathways required for Neonatal Nurse Practitioner candidates pursuing endorsement.
You will lead the design and development of a comprehensive educational and clinical framework, including a rotational training model, governance structures and placement standards — ensuring alignment with organisational priorities and statewide objectives.
Key responsibilities
Leading benchmarking and literature reviews to inform model design
Developing a university scoping paper outlining accredited course pathways and clinical requirements
Coordinating Steering Committee activities and stakeholder engagement across multiple sites
Designing and delivering a comprehensive Statewide NNP Candidate training framework
Monitoring project milestones, timelines, reporting and governance requirements
Preparing and presenting final project outcomes to the NAG NNP Working Group
This role requires engagement across multiple organisations, including Monash Health. Hybrid flexibility may be considered in alignment with project milestones.

About You
To ensure your success in this role you will bring the following demonstrated skills, experience and knowledge:
Proven experience coordinating or supporting complex projects
Strong research, benchmarking and analytical writing skills
Excellent stakeholder engagement and communication abilities
Highly developed organisational skills with exceptional attention to detail
Ability to manage competing priorities, timelines and reporting requirements
Mandatory requirements of the role
Bachelor's degree in Business or related field, or Certificate IV/Diploma in Project Management
Background in Healthcare or Nursing Health research experience preferred
Demonstrated experience supporting or managing projects in a related capacity
Based or working within Monash Health to align with the Nurse Practitioner program
