The Role
Reporting to theSenior HR Business Partner, youwill partner closely withProjectDirectors, operational leaders, and corporate stakeholders to deliver strategic and operational HR support across multiple construction projects.
This role requires strongemployment relations capability, commercial acumen, and the ability to operate effectively within a fast-paced, site-based environment.
Key Responsibilities
Partner with senior operational leaders across construction projects
Provide strategic and operational HR advice
Execute the delivery of day-to-day HR Operations and act as the first point of contact for all HR enquiries.
Lead employee relations matters
Respond to and resolve employee grievances and disputes in line with company policies and procedures.
Provide coaching, guidance, and support to managers on performance and disciplinary matters.
Maintain up-to-date knowledge on applicable employment legislation and support with the interpretation and application of these.
Conduct andmanage workplace investigations
Drive workforce planning and talent strategies
Develop and maintain HR policies & procedures ensuring compliance with applicable legislation
Support mobilisation and project ramp-up activities
Assist Recruitment Manager with recruitment activities
Coach leaders on people management and compliance
Contribute to culture, engagement, and leadership initiatives
Employee lifecycle management
Successful deployment of business initiatives
About You
8+ years HRBP experience within construction, infrastructure, mining, engineering, or industrial sectors
Solid ER/IR capabilityand experience with Australian employmentlaw landscape
Experience supporting blue-collar and site-based workforces
Exposure to unionised environments
Ability to influence senior stakeholders
Strong conflict resolution and coaching capability
Tertiary qualifications in HumanResource Managementor related disciplineessential
