About You:
Ready to take ownership of critical engineering projects? We are looking for a proactive
Plant Engineer
to lead reliability, maintenance strategy, and capital projects at our
West Footscray facility
. This is a highly collaborative, hands-on role where your technical expertise will directly impact our operational success.
What You Bring -
Background in heavy industry or manufacturing environments.
Success leading end-to-end capital projects and turnkey solutions.
Strong mechanical design skills using CAD and SolidWorks.
Ability to connect, communicate, and influence at all levels of the business.
About the Role:




Reporting to the Engineering and Maintenance Manager, you will serve as the
technical backbone of our manufacturing operations
. Your primary objective is to enhance safety, quality, and overall equipment efficiency through continuous improvement and structured methodologies.
Key Responsibilities -
Plant Reliability: Provide technical leadership in asset reliability utilising RCA (Root Cause Analysis), RCM (Reliability-Centered Maintenance), and defect elimination.
Capital Projects: Identify, scope, justify, and deliver engineering projects that enhance plant capability, capacity, and cost performance.
Asset Strategy: Balance long-term asset strategy, capital planning, and continuous improvement initiatives to optimise whole-of-life performance.
Stakeholder Engagement: Collaborate closely with internal Manufacturing, Procurement, and OHS teams, as well as external clients and subcontractors.
