We're looking for an experienced
Trade Qualified Printer / Press Operator
to join our high-performing production team, operating state-of-the-art
6 and 8 colour Heidelberg XL presses with Cutstar reel-fed units
.
This is a permanent, full time opportunity where you'll produce premium packaging for some of the world's most recognised brands using industry-leading technology.
One of the biggest perks? You'll work a
compressed 3-day week (36 hours)
, giving you
four days off every week
to enjoy everything Melbourne has to offer.
Your roster:
Initial onboarding and training on day shift
Permanent night shift: 6:00 pm – 6:00 am
Four consecutive days off every week
Your Duties
Operate and monitor advanced printing and finishing equipment to produce premium-quality products.
Set up, adjust and optimise print jobs to meet production and quality standards.
Perform routine machine maintenance and troubleshoot production issues.




Conduct quality inspections and maintain accurate production records.
Work safely while supporting continuous improvement initiatives.
Mentor and support Assistant Printers where required.
About You
Proven experience operating multi-colour Heidelberg presses (Cutstar experience highly regarded).
Strong understanding of colour management and print quality standards.
Ability to read and use colour measurement devices.
Basic computer skills (Microsoft Office, Outlook).
Mechanically minded with strong problem-solving skills.
Physically fit and comfortable working in a fast-paced workplace.
Team player with strong communication and organisational skills.
