At Feel Good Events, we believe creating a great wedding, party or corporate event starts long before the decorating begins.
We're looking for someone who is just as passionate about styling and event planning as they are about understanding people. Someone who naturally enjoys uncovering what a client is really trying to achieve, helping them explore different ideas and confidently guiding them towards the decisions most likely to create the outcome they're hoping for.
This is much more than an event planning & styling role. It's a consultative role where you'll combine creativity, relationship building and event knowledge to help clients create events they're genuinely excited about.

Feel Good Events is a Melbourne based event styling and planning company specialising in weddings, parties and corporate events.
Most clients come to us with plenty of ideas.
What they often need is someone who can help organise those ideas, see possibilities they hadn't considered and confidently guide them towards the right decisions.
While many event styling companies focus mainly on styling spaces, we believe outstanding events are shaped by the decisions made long before the day arrives.
Through thoughtful styling, planning and guest experience design, we help our clients create the atmosphere and guest experience they're hoping for.
From the initial consultation through to the final pack down, we're there to guide our clients every step of the way.
About The Role
As our Event Planning & Styling Consultant, you'll become one of the main people our clients work with throughout their event journey.
You'll spend your time understanding clients, developing styling concepts, creating mood boards, recommending ideas, coordinating suppliers and helping deliver Feel Good events.
Every day is different.



One morning you might be meeting with a bride designing her wedding reception, the next you could be helping plan a corporate gala or styling a milestone birthday party.
This role combines creativity, planning, relationship building and practical problem solving. If you enjoy helping people bring ideas to reality while confidently guiding them through important decisions, you'll love this role.
Key Responsibilities
Meet with clients by phone, email, video call and face to face.
Understand what clients are trying to achieve and recommend the most suitable styling and planning approach.
Create styling concepts, mood boards and decorating proposals.
Present ideas and confidently explain why particular styling and planning recommendations will create the best outcome.
Prepare quotations and event documentation.
Coordinate venues, suppliers and our internal event team.
Manage multiple events while keeping every detail organised.
Attend site visits and assist with installations when required.
Help ensure every event is delivered to the standard we've promised our clients.

Essential Skills & Experience
Minimum 3 years' experience in either event planning, wedding planning, event styling or consultative event sales.
Strong styling ability with experience creating mood boards and styling concepts.
Excellent communication and relationship building skills.
Confident presenting ideas and making recommendations to clients.
Highly organised with the ability to manage multiple projects at once.
Comfortable using Canva or similar design software.
Strong computer skills, including Google Workspace.
Current driver's licence.
Physically fit and willing to assist with our larger event setups when required.
Permanent Australian resident.
Build On Your Existing Skills
We're looking for someone who already has solid event planning or styling experience and is confident working with clients.
